Kwartet André is proud to present the world première recording of Anton Polzelli’s Trio Concertante for clarinet, viola and cello. This recently rediscovered work is performed on Kwartet André’s debut CD together with clarinet quartets by Haydn and Hummel offering you a unique and exciting programme.

‘Haydn, his Mistress, their Son and his Successor’ tells the musical story of three composers whose lives were dramatically intertwined at the Esterházy court towards the end of the 18th century. Kwartet André brings the magic of this music to life with their energy, enthusiasm and intrinsic understanding of clarinet quartet repertoire from this period.
